Weight Loss

Medical weight loss programs are offered and managed by Chealsea Birchfield, FNP under supervision of a local MD. An initial visit is required prior to initiation of any medication. Labs are not included and may be ordered if needed.

Bi-weekly or monthly visits to evaluate progress, discuss nutrition, and monitor medication usage and side effects

Nutrition Counseling Only

Bi-weekly or monthly visits for accountability and counseling on nutrition and exercise. 

Labs

Required for initiation of prescription medication for weight loss if not drawn in the last 6 months.

You will pay for these medications directly through the pharmacy. Pricing does not include visits or potential shipping costs. Follow up visits are required for monitoring and progress. This is not an extensive list of medications that may be prescribed.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Bioidentical hormone replacement can improve menopausal symptoms, aid in weight loss, increase energy levels, and improve your mood. These hormones include progesterone, estradiol, testosterone, and DHEA. This is best implemented during perimenopause/menopause for optimal results. Treatment is tailored to patient specific needs. We use a compounding pharmacy for bio identical hormone replacement therapy.

Medication cost ranges from $50-$100 per month and will be paid directly through the pharmacy. For men, injectable testosterone must be administered in office for the first 4 weeks of treatment.
